Bin Gao

Dr. Bin Gao received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Fourth Military Medical University(FMMU) in 2004, 2012 respectively.  After she graduated from FMMU in 2004, she worked in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of FMMU First Affiliated Hospital as a clinical doctor. At the end of 2013, she came to XJTU Biomedical Engineering and Biomechanics Center as a postdoctoral fellow.

Dr. Gao’s research has been focused on the pathogenesis of diabetes and clinical treatment related research. Recently, she turn to the study of the combination diabetes basic medical research and application of three dimensional islet model. Now, she is the youth member of Shaanxi Provincial Diabetes Association and Shaanxi Provincial Endocrine Association. She is the principal investigator for one research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shaanxi Province Natural Science Foundation and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. Also, more than 20 articles papers have published in SCI and core journal.
