Yufei Ma

    Lecturer, School of Life Science and Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University

    Dr. Yufei Ma got her B.S. in Biofunctional Materials in 2009 from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2014 from Tsinghua University. She joined in the School of Life Science & Technology and Biomedical Engineering & Biomechanics Center of Xi’an Jiaotong University from 2014 till now.

    Dr. Yufei Ma's main research interests are focused on biomineralization mechanism of calcium based biominerals and biomimetic materials. She has many years' experience on preparation and characterization of biomaterials and biochemical analysis methods. She has published 8 papers in SCI journals and 1 paper in the national core journal.

    Research interests:

    A. Natural biominerals, including microstructure, self-assembly and biomineralization mechanism

    B. Fabrication and properties of biomimetic materials

    C. Fabrication and biomedical applications of biocomposite
