At the end of November 2016, Acta Mechanica Sinica, the flagship journal of the Chinese Society of Mechanics, of which the editor-in-chief is the director of laboratory Professor Lu Tianjian, has achieved the goal of breaking 1.0 in its impact factor, and was named "2016 China's most influential international academic journals".
