I completed my M.S. degree
in Molecular and Statistical Genetics from Hunan Normal University in 2009. My
thesis work focused on the hereditary basis of obesity using molecular and
statistical methods. We explored the association of copy number variations
(CNVs) with BMI in 597 Chinese Han subjects using Affymetrix GeneChip Human
Mapping 500K Array Set. Our findings suggested that CNV might be potentially
important for the BMI variation and CNV might be used as a genetic marker to
locate genes associated with BMI in Chinese population. Now, I am a Ph.D.
candidate in Biochemistry and Molecule Biology. Here at BEBC, I am interested in
nanotoxicity for in
vitro and in vivo conditions.
