I completed my BEng. degree in Engineering Mechanics, Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2009. The fourth year project was “Three-dimensional fluid-structure interaction modelling on abdominal aortic aneurysm” under the supervision of Prof. Tianjian Lu. From 2009-2010, I was a Ph.D candidate in Solid Mechanics, Xi’an Jiaotong University working on the projects titled “Mechanical properties of blood vessel aneurysm” & “Mechanical properties of human dentine”. I started my DPhil course in 2010 in Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford, and obtained the doctoral degree in 2014 with the thesis title: Thermal-mechanical behaviour of hierarchical structure of human dental tissue. Currently, I am holding a postdoctoral research assistant in Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford.
